The mission of the Neurotech Hub is to accelerate progress in neuroscience by providing cutting-edge technical services on demand. We seek, test, and deploy paradigm-shifting or bespoke technologies.
What we do
Electronics
- 2-Layer flex circuit boards
- Reflow & SMD assembly
- Bench testing & characterization
3D Parts
- Bio-compatible (≥25µm)
- Wide-range of filaments
- 3D design & consultation
Other
- Laser & textile cutting
- Specialized training
- And more…
Let’s build something great.
Are you interested in creating a piece of equipment, implementing a new technology, or figuring out how to make your idea come to life? We can help.
How do I start using the Neurotech Hub?
- Head to our Membership page and find a plan that fits and then Get in Touch. We can also work on an hourly basis or collaborate on grants.
- Request Training to get a tour of the Hub and familiarize yourself with our equipment and safety protocols. We will require a cost center to be on file at this point.
- Schedule your equipment so we know who, what, and when.

Our work
An Unofficial FED Cleaning Protocol
FED failures can be traced to IR sensor and circuit board issues, which can be remediated with an isopropyl wash.
At-a-distance Liquid Measurement Sensor for Tracking Sub-mL Consumption
Here, we present a tube-based magnet float and enclosed magnetic sensor array to determine and record sub-milliliter liquid intake every 10s called “Tubetrode”.
A Leak-proof Countermeasure for 3D-printed Vessels Under Pressure
We aimed to determine if a spray coating could mitigate leaking. Furthermore, if deployed as a submersible/vessel, could our parts withstand acute exposure to external pressure (e.g., up to 80 meters)?
